Our team spe­cial­izes in clin­ical reha­bil­i­ta­tion and fit­ness.  We use a variety of tech­niques to help you reach your unique goals:  quan­tifi­able assess­ment mea­sures for muscle strength and length, func­tional move­ments and muscle co-ordination.

We Work With You

We pro­vide exer­cise pro­grams – based on our assess­ments – that are pre­cisely designed to match your goals.  We use a pro­gres­sion of ther­a­peutic and gen­eral fit­ness exer­cises, yoga and Pilates tech­niques and sport per­for­mance drills as required.

We help you reach your goals as soon as pos­sible.  Further, many of our clients have remained with us for years to set new goals inte­grating our pro­grams into their overall lifestyle and fit­ness pro­grams.  We foster a team approach often working together with reha­bil­i­ta­tion spe­cial­ists at insur­ance com­pa­nies, phys­io­ther­a­pists, chi­ro­prac­tors, family physi­cians, dieti­cians and other med­ical specialists.

Our team is pleased to work with you on a one-on-one basis or in small groups.  We can meet with you in the com­fort of your home or at our clin­ical loca­tions across Ontario.  Our kine­si­ol­o­gists are avail­able for appoint­ments every day of the week from 6 am to 8 pm.

Functional Fitness

We pro­vide move­ment based assess­ments using the Functional Movement Screen and other mus­cu­loskeletal tests to eval­uate strength and deter­mine if you are effi­ciently using the right mus­cles for the right move­ments. Our assess­ment results let us develop cus­tomized exer­cise pro­grams just for you.


The First Line Approach

The First Line Team has devel­oped a pro­pri­etary system for clin­ical assess­ment unique to kine­si­ology. This system is taught through our sister com­pany First Line Education Inc., and has trained over 300 kine­si­ol­o­gists, phys­io­ther­a­pists, chi­ro­prac­tors and per­sonal trainers to date.

Kinesiology is the study of the sci­ence of human move­ment, and we start our assess­ment of your body by looking at move­ments that you have to do every day.

For example, we all need to com­fort­ably sit and stand, walk, for­ward bend and twist. We know that there are cer­tain mus­cles that must be used for these move­ments and we know that these mus­cles must work in a par­tic­ular order for you to be strong and pain free with all of your activities.
